Our high quality photo books come in various cover and colour options, also offering fantastic prices and quick delivery times. The days of the old photo album are changing; now your photographs can be displayed in stylish, bespoke quality lay flat photo book.
OVP photo books cover all tastes and budgets from pocket books to 20×16 inch, leather style bound plain or in various acrylic designs. All our photo books are printed using traditional silver halide photographic paper, which is available in lustre or high gloss.
To complete your finished product, the photo book is supplied in a quality black presentation box. For an additional cost you may choose to have a black carrying case (cases available for 9×12 sizes and larger books only), Fotobox or bespoke Heston box.
Design Software ~ we offer a free design software to professional photographers where you can design your own photo book using both a modern and artistic design templates combined with simple layouts. The software has the ability to change the images into sepia or black and white. Has filters to create fading, borders and different shaped masks which helps bring a different aspect to your photography. Alternatively you may supply us with your own pre-designed spreads that we can print to produce a photo book from.
For monitor calibration information please call for a print and digital file, files should be in sRGB colour space before importing into the software. Our AlbumExpress software, includes colour and density check by our lab technicians. For further information, please telephone 01234 340152 or email us with your enquiry. When you use MAC it is necessary do following once downloaded: * start Album Express (you will see on the tool bar on the top: apple – Album Express)* click on Album Express – Update graphic libraries. When you run the software on WIN please do following once downloaded: File – Help – Check for Update graphic libraries.
Book Designing – Once software is installed you would design your book first, and then create a new project for the cover. For size of covers please see our current price guide or call/email and we will forward the information. When designing, the whole page must be filled including the grey shaded area. When using text, please make sure it is well inside the grey shaded area. Always remember for your images to be in sRGB colour space before you start and use 300dpi jpeg files.
